It's Been Soooooooooooo Long

Damn I think I forgot how to use this site. I have totally neglected this site like a bald-headed stepchild. Right about now DYFS would be banging down my door...well then again this is Jersey...they need some help. Anyway, instead of trying to remember all the things that have taken place since the last time I posted...I will be moving forwarded...I think.

New Year, Old Goals, New Determination
I hope everyone is enjoying the New Year, and as with most people, there comes a new list of resolutions that are deemed to be broken. This year I did away with resolutions and replaced them with tangible goals. Goals that are entirely feasible and obtainable. So I decided to go back and dust of some old goals (Not Old Gold, Old English, or English Leather for that manner). I will share a few with you:

Goals (Part 1):

1. Keep @ least a Quarter Tank of Gas in the car:
Last week I was late for work so I didn't stop for gas...I had about a quarter ounce in the tank, and not of that good shit either. When it was time to leave work...I turned the key, and my car laughed. Some people would panic but like many times before I was blessed. One of Garage Attendants was going to loan me his car to get gas...yes I said he was going to loan me his car to get gas. His manager at that point told him that he could give me a ride to get petro. How can a repay such a favor...most would say money...that would be too easy, besides last time I checked my bank account, like my car...it laughed (Hysterically). The attendent happens to rhyme...mmm...I happen to do beats...I happen to have another goal of putting to together a mixtape...then there you have it.

2. Writing, Directing, and Scoring an Independent Film:
I have been sitting on this goal for years. Honestly I completely forgot about this one until a few days before Christmas when I started to write out my goals for '05. Much to my amazement and sheer appreiation that I'm sure that I will never be able express on this post or any 50...I recieved a Mini DV camera from my "Good Luck Charm" (New nickname, check back every once and a while for a new one), Nichole. After recieving the gift, it brought things full circle...I need to do what I need to do to accomplish this goal...it's a sign I tell ya. I began to reasearch classes for film editing...and damn if I'm not in the wrong business, when you can charge $2000 for 4 hours of work and sleep at night...damn, that's where I need to be.
I happened to stumble upon a school in NYC, Digital Film Academy. Basically for the price of 2 classes (I would need quite a few), the school has a class that goes through everything about filmaking, including writing, directing, scoring, and producing your own film before graduation. I met with one of the Professors/Producers last week as well as sat in a few classes...damn...I got to enroll. Of course...I look at the bank account...and it laughed again...but this time around there are options, so if all goes right I will start class next month.

(Break...hands are tired from all this typing)...

3. Produce an Instrumental CD (Possible option to cover tution...don't be suprised if you see me at Burger King flipping burgers either).
This goal has been on the top shelf for about hmm...7 years. Well maybe the those were the 7 years of bad luck...but I'm please to announce that I have finally did it...well underground...but it's a leap from the trash can. (BEGIN SHAMLESS PLUG) You can pick up the CD here at cafepress.com/9thstore. Not only can you pick up a CD or two (or 500), but you can also pick up clothing for men and women. (END OF SHAMELESS PLUG, hey I got tution to pay for).
